In the Analytics Based Cybersecurity (ABC) research area at the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE, our cybersecurity experts examines key protocols of the internet for vulnerabilities. These protocols can be manipulated to redirect data packets or trick users into mistaking fraudulent and fake websites for the originals. The results of the research can be used to gain insights into new attack methods and develop innovative procedures to prevent such cyber attacks.
